The story of this book is loosely inspired by the true story of Brazilian skydiver and parachutist Luigi Cani, who released 100 million seeds from 28 native trees while leaping from a plane over a deforested area of the Amazon rainforest. I collected this good-news story for my book A Year of Good News 2022.
